New map background, since the old map just wasn't busy-looking enough. (You can turn it off if you find yourself in danger of a seizure.)

Version 0.98.3.4:

* New map background image.

* Fixed exception when entering right-click orders on popup world
or fleet window.

* Server: you must now provide an email address before you will be
allowed to sign up for a public game.

* Fixed printed map legend display on OSX build.

Sorry to ask, but how do you turn off the new, jazzy looking map background?

There's an option on the first page of the "Preferences" window to turn it off.

And, frankly, I don't blame you for wanting it off.
