Recent server troubles

My apologies for the server downtime since Wednesday. Unknown to me, a hacker somehow gained access to the server and started using it to send DoS attacks, and my ISP responded by shutting the whole thing down hard and refusing to allow me to reenable it.

I've since had to completely rebuild and reinstall the server from scratch, a tedious process. I believe it is now working correctly. I've delayed all games by 7 days to account for the lost time. Some of you may have received bogus turn messages during the downtime; please ignore these. Check your games to confirm the current turn numbers and due dates.

not sure what DoS means but I am glad you recovered. Hacking is something I just dont understand.
