Hi,
is it common practice in no communication games to gift homeworlds to other players ?
I don´t want to supect anybody of anything, just find it odd......

Sure, there are strategic reasons to share your homeworld with another player--for instance, a Trader will commonly give away his homeworld, so he will get the points for dumping metal there. Or a player may choose to give his homeworld away to an Emperor, who will earn more points for it, as a way to be helpful to his ally.
It can also be used as the sincerest expression of trust and alliance. Presumably, of course, the player who gifts away his homeworld is still hoping to be able to make use of the ships it produces, and otherwise benefit from the alliance.

When gifting to a raider hope of getting ships in the future tends to be......
