RSW version 0.95

Post by drwr »

Oh, boy, some tasty things in this one. I think the most exciting fix is the smooth-scrolling map, especially on large maps (like in the recently-finished circles5h).

Code: Select all

Version 0.95:

	* Improved responsiveness when scrolling through large messages
	and large maps.

	* Added "Print Map" and "Save Map to Image" menu options.

	* Simplified options on Export window a bit.

	* Received message text is now selectable for cut-and-paste.

	* Fixed client bug which could result in incorrect placement of
fleets or artifacts to worlds after having imported one or more
	turn reports.

	* At game end, each player will be assigned the lowest score of
all the game positions he or she has *ever* played in that game,
including withdrawn and abandoned positions (that is, withdrawing
a position can no longer be used to escape a low-scoring
	position).

	* If a network failure prevents successful delivery of a message,
the message window pops back up again to allow the user to try
again or save the message in the "hold" folder.

	* More fixes to fleet-movement arrows after importing turn
	reports.

	* Reworked the various character type descriptions on the "Quick
Strategy Guide" page to be more consistent with observed gameplay
	patterns.

Version 0.94.2:

	* Fixed sudden client crash when importing or downloading very
	large maps. Windows only.

	* Fix for client lockup when downloading game.

Version 0.94.1:

	* Fixed plunder bug which caused a world never again to produce
metal after having been plundered, even after the world had
supposedly recovered from the plunder. (!)

	* Fixed crash when importing an order list that contains orders
	for fleets you can't see.
