App for Android?
App for Android?
Is there a plan to build a client for Android? I would like to work out my turns while i am on the road.
Re: App for Android?
Sorry, I don't have any plan to do this. I agree it'd be a swell thing to have, though.

Hm, ok, another question: if i had a tablet with windows 10 (no, i havnt such a thing ...), would the client works on this? I have seen such tabs for under 100 euro ... but i dont want to spend so much money only to see, it does not work
Re: App for Android?
Hmm, I don't know. I have little experience with Windows tablets. It would have to be capable of running an x86 executable compiled for Windows desktop. It's possible, but this would be a question for the tablet salesperson.
Does anyone else on these forums have experience with these kinds of tablets?

Re: App for Android?
Some research on the internet seems to suggest that finding a tablet that can do this is unlikely. So, I'm sorry to report, you probably won't be able to buy a Windows 10 tablet that can run the RSW client directly.
However, there are some really inexpensive (and lightweight) notebooks that should do fine. For instance, this one: https://www.google.com/shopping/product ... Ah638P8HAQ
The key things to look for are having an actual hard disk (or SSD) installed with a Windows operating system, and a CPU that's capable of running x86 applications, such as the Intel Atom.

Another idea is this one: http://www.pcmag.com/review/351556/lenovo-ideapad-110s
I'm not finding anything in the sub-100 Euro range, though. If that's your pricepoint, you might need to go with a Linux-based laptop, which you could probably get for under 100 Euros. This kind of machine would be theoretically capable of running the RSW Client (from source). It would be a bit more technically involved to do this, though.
