Capturing

I'm new to RSW and have a question right off the bat. Am I correct in assuming that an unowned world with no population will resist capture? Thanks.

That is correct. Generally, a world with zero population cannot be captured. If you happen to be a Positronix, it's relatively easy to drop at least one robot to the world (which counts as non-zero population) and then you can capture it. For most other player types, you have to migrate at least one population from an adjacent world, which is time-consuming and resource-intensive.
