Problem with Modifier2b Turn 4?

Hi Admin,

wondering if you can look into something for me. Turn 4 of modifier2b, I (BongoBob/Belkar Bitterleaf) have 2 fleets at what is (neutral) W40 for me. The world has population, and no neutral ships or opposing ships are present or passing through. Yet I did not gain ownership of the planet at the start of the turn. Is this an error or is there a reason for this happening that I am not able to appreciate?

Thanks.

Did you perhaps 3:1-capture one of the two fleets this turn (as raider) ?

Aha! Thanks MiTCh. I'm Wildcard, I did capture (3.5:1) the fleet this turn.

Right, this is a common point of confusion. Since the special "commandeer" attack happens AFTER world reassignment, you don't capture the world the same turn you commandeer all of the fleets at it. You will capture the world next turn, if you remain the only player there.
