Can you do it?

I know that if you travel to a black hole your fleet will be destroyed. But can you safely pass over a black hole? The manual doesn't seem to say.

Nope, can't do it. Your fleet will be eaten by the black hole before it makes it out the other side. I'll clarify the wording in the manual.
