disconnected bug

Occasionally, when I'm on wireless or have an otherwise flakey connection, I may get the following error:
"Could not connect to RSW Server. Would you like to switch to offline mode?"

Normally this is no big deal. I'll try to get my connection back and then pick up wherever I left off and continue giving orders.

There is one situation which is quite a bit sadder than the norm, though. If you're writing a message and the connection goes down, you won't be informed until you click the "Send immediately" button. By that time, however, the message window has disappeared, and after you dismiss the error dialog, the message has not been sent and is nowhere to be found.

This is very disheartening, especially if you've written a long message.

Oops. I'll fix it.

In the meantime, it might be a good idea get in the habit of selecting your text and pressing ctrl+c before clicking "Send immediately", especially if you know you are on a flakey connection.
