Looking for players

Post by sun-e »

Hi,
we are starting a test game of "Olympia: The Age of Gods". Most players will be germans, but the game itself and the rules are in english. If you dont have problems with it, then check out the rules

http://www.pbm.com/oly/tag/Manual/Top.html

and sign up:

We have a little scenario with a war of Magicains vs Priests. I guess you can try to translate it with google:

:-)

If you have a question or problems with the sign up form, drop me a message.

Regards,

In a similar vein... are there any PBEM games still around like Olympia?

Puuh, tricky, we lack in players. We build a setting of Olympia with roundabout 20-30 players. But we lack in players and never started.

I think there is one instance still running at http://www.shadowlandgames.com/olympia/. But most players left the game by now.

Is the code for the game somewhere on Github?

I think one of the problems with TAG/Olympia was the archaic UI - even when it comes to the text command interface, it is worse then Atlantis.
