tortured8v - problems to join

Post by Arioch »

Hello, is there anyone else having problems to join this game? I tried to join but after registering the first character I could not register any more. As you can see in the attachment I am not able to choose the next character and thus I can't register...

That is odd, I just attempted to sign up and it allowed me to select a character type for position 1 but no character types allowed for position 2.

Do you mean, how do you win in a multi-position game? See Game Variants for a brief explanation.

In a nutshell, when the game is over, each player is awarded the lowest score of his or her three positions. Then the players are ranked by that score, and the player with the highest of those scores is declared the winner.

So, to win, you have to play well in all three positions, so that your lowest score is still higher than anyone else's lowest score.

This game seemed to end early. It is over on turn 13. Can someone explain the scoring end for this game?

As it shows in the final report, the finish-line score (determined at random, I believe) was 6186. Both kalonian and Scarlet_Pumpernickel achieved and exceeded that score this turn, triggering the end of the game. Your lowest score was better than the lowest scores of the other three of us.

Congrats on the win!

thx, that is how it worked. I thought the lowest score had to exceed the end score. Plus the end score was lower than I have ever seen. Just seemed like we finally settled into the game and then it was over.
