Re: Set up game ith new character types
Hi Dave & All; When I set up "spreads" I just cloned it from floors as Dave described doing in his post above. I would have liked to change a few things, but with the new characters the list of options has become mind boggling and I didn't want to screw anything up so I refrained. I'm ...

Warlord Judging
Since the Warlord is a new character there isn't any information on him in the help file. When a Missionary declares judgment they loose martyr points ---- does a Warlord loose anything by declaring judgment? Like, points for firing on anyone besides the declared target?

Re: Where da games?
I had a couple StarCon games finally start and that's taken a huge bite out of my gaming time. Elliot, Don, Dan and maybe others are in those games as well. I'm waiting for the next "additional characters" game to start.

Arms Dealer: Being de-fanged is one thing ----- as long as you've got good allies. It was a challenge that I thought I dealt with pretty well. But the cost of building ships was absurd, and no client was willing to make the necessary investment. The problem is that first you have to build 4 times as...

Re: Voting
I think it's a great idea, I clicked on the link, checked out the website, and couldn't figure out HOW to vote! My problem is that, while I check the client and submit turns almost every day (sometimes several times a day) I seldom come here to the forum so I just barely found this. I've been encour...

Re: Power outage in the northeast
We had a little ice, but mostly just snow. The power never flickered. However, areas south and east of us got hammered.

Re: Playtesting New Characters
What types haven't been taken? A missing collector or Missionary wouldn't be that big a loss, but a missing Emperor, Pirate or Berserker would unquestionably effect interactions with the new characters.

That's one whopping huge pile of ships and fleets you've got moving around! I'm staying well clear of that! Once I saw that I beat feet out of your territory!

Re: Projected turn data...
I had a really good, total universe map of tuition, but my computer kept choking on it. I handed the game off to Scott, but couldn't figure out how to hand the map off. Would there be some way to override any mapping already done and just replace it with a map from someone else? I know the map gets ...

Re: pockets3h
Hi Robbie; For whatever it's worth I'm probably one of the ones that jumped you during the last couple turns. I had had a protracted struggle with another player for most of the game, he finally collapsed and you had the easiest boarder for me to cross in force, simple as that. I had no idea it was ...

Re: Projected turn data...
That sounds like a wicked cheat! You order a probe, run the projected turn, see whats "going" to be there, and go back and change your orders. Yeah, if everybody takes advantage of it, it would add an entirely different dimension to the game..... but at what price? I see how it would be de...

Re: RSW version 0.98.8.12
I get you, the FnnnE order wouldn't work in an FBI game, their program would choke on it. It would be like the mass load, unload, and movement orders already on the client where a single click writes orders for a bunch of fleets ---- except in this case a single click would generate a bunch of diffe...
